Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Engrain since March 2023, Mark previously held positions such as Director of Software Development at VHA Corp, where significant improvements in employee engagement and departmental productivity were implemented. From April 2011 to September 2021, Mark contributed to Intrado as a Software Engineering Manager, leading a successful transition to SAFe Agile methodologies, which enhanced system reliability and efficiency. Earlier, Mark held roles at Quiznos, SHL Group, Small System Design, and Centrum Business Systems, building a robust foundation in software engineering and project leadership. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
