Lead PSM Operation Compliance Specialist at EnLink Midstream

Peter Michgelsen has a diverse work experience in the field of compliance and environmental regulations. Peter started their career in 2007 as a Hazardous Waste Inspector and Auditor at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, where they focused on ensuring compliance with regulations for hazardous waste facilities. From 2008 to 2012, they also worked as a PSM/RMP Inspector and Auditor, responsible for evaluating facilities throughout Louisiana for compliance with environmental standards.

In 2012, Peter joined EnLink Midstream as a Lead PSM Operation Compliance Specialist. In this role, they took on the responsibility of directing PSM/safety operation compliance for facilities in multiple states, including Louisiana, Texas, and Ohio. Peter led various compliance efforts, including PSM, risk management plan, safety compliance, railroad/truck compliance, and United States Coast Guard compliance.

Throughout their career, Peter has gained experience in auditing a wide range of facilities, such as chemical plants, refineries, natural gas fractionation, storage domes, poultry plants, refrigerated warehouses, and wastewater treatment plants. Peter has demonstrated expertise in ensuring compliance with regulations and program standards.

From 2004 to 2007, Peter Michgelsen attended Mississippi University for Women, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
