Karan Rai

Karan Rai has held a variety of roles in the technology and finance industries. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Consultant at Gryphon Holdings, where they analyzed and presented research findings on M&A deal dynamics in India and CEEMEA markets, as well as internationalization strategies of Indian corporations. From 2010 to 2011, they were a UK M&A at Societe Generale. From 2011 to 2017, they were the Founder of Red Panda Innovation Labs, where they evolved the team into a highly skilled engineering team, passionate about building high quality and pragmatic software products. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Head of Software Engineering at KOKO Networks and the Chief Product Officer, where they built the engineering and product team and roadmapped and lead the implementation of a suite of software products. From 2020 to 2021, they were the Technical Specialist at Interactive Pharma Solutions and the Chief Technology Officer at Alpha Coach, where they built and scaled the flagship product, Elite. Karan was also the Founder of Launch Ventures in 2020 and the Investor at Serelay in 2017.

Karan Rai completed their MBA in Finance from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2005. Karan also completed their Class 12 in Science from Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram in 2001.
