Evgeniya Dontsova

Curious personality, solid computational and research experience, as well as passion for modeling and coding has brought Evgeniya Dontsova to the area of data science. In particular, the combination of desire to combine the latest advances in predictive modeling with physical understanding of complex problems and the background in mechanics naturally led her to the field of Oil and Gas.

Evgeniya is a senior research data scientist at Enovate Upstream. Her current responsibilities include application of machine learning algorithms for drilling optimization, perforation placement optimization, and log density prediction using mud logging elemental measurements of drill cuttings.

Evgeniya holds a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. degree in Physics from Novosibirsk State University, Russia.
