Michael Berens

Michael Berens has a strong background in accounting and finance with experience at multiple reputable companies. Michael started their career at Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager/Senior/Staff, and worked there from 2004 to 2010. Michael then joined Lowe's as a Senior Manager in Accounting Policy and External Reporting from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they worked at Wells Fargo as an Assistant Controller - CRE from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Michael is working at EnPro Industries Inc. as the Director of Accounting and Compliance, a position they have held since June 2018. Before that, they worked as the Financial and SEC Reporting Manager at the same company from 2015 to 2018.

Michael Berens attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Spanish. In 2006, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.
