Andreas Buhl

Andreas Buhl has extensive work experience in various industries. Andreas is currently serving as the CTO of ENPULSION GmbH, a Space Tech company based in Austria. In this role, they are responsible for leading the development of advanced propulsion solutions for SmallSats.

Prior to their current role, Andreas worked at Beyond Gravity as the Director of Operations Mechatronic from December 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they served as the Country Manager from January 2019 to December 2021.

Andreas also held the position of VP of Products and Projects Aerospace & Railway at TTTech Computertechnik AG from June 2017 to November 2018.

From 2010 to 2017, Andreas worked at Liebherr Aerospace & Transportation Systems, first as the Director of Electronic Products from April 2010 to March 2014, and then as the Managing Director of Technology from April 2014 to May 2017.

Prior to their time at Liebherr, Andreas was the VP of Research and Development at Dräger from March 2009 to March 2010.

Andreas started their career at Liebherr Aerospace & Transportation Systems in 1995, where they held various roles including Head of Electronic System Department, Project Manager, and System Engineer until March 2009.

Additionally, they served as a Hubschrauberführeroffizier in the Deutsche Bundeswehr from May 1986 to July 1991.

Andreas Buhl pursued their education from 1982 to 1986 at Heersflieger Waffenschule in Bükeburg, where they obtained the degree of Hubschrauberführeroffizier. Following this, from 1991 to 1995, they attended the University of Applied Science Ravensburg Weingarten, specializing in Technische Physik/Angewandte Physik, and earned the degree of Diplom-Ingenieur (FH).
