David Magar

David Magar, CISSP, is a Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer at ENSCO, Inc. David previously worked at Lockheed Martin as a Cyber Systems Security Engineer and Technical Analyst. David completed their Bachelors in Information Technology with a minor in Cyber Security at The University of Tulsa, where they focused on computer security, penetration testing, cryptography, and hardware reverse engineering. David also conducted studies on Human Computer Interaction (HCI) as a Student Researcher at The University of Tulsa. David gained experience as a Summer Intern at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and as a Cybersecurity Student at Rose State College. David also worked as a Technical Writer at HEBCO, Inc. and in customer service at FNB Community Bank.

David Magar, CISSP, has a comprehensive education history in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. David completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from The University of Tulsa between 2017 and 2019.

Earlier in their academic journey, David obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Enterprise Development from Rose State College in 2017. David also holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree with a CyberSecurity Option from Rose State College, which they obtained in 2016.

In addition to their educational background, David Magar has obtained several certifications related to the field. David became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)² in 2023. David also holds certifications as a Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in 2022, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA obtained in 2020, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council obtained in 2020.
