Andy Durkan

Andy Durkan has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Andy most recently worked at Ensono Digital as a Lead Consultant - Data Engineer since January 2023, after serving as a Senior Consultant - Data Engineer from June 2022 to January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Merkle EMEA as a Senior Data Engineer from September 2019 to June 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Wilko from August 2018 to September 2019. Andy also held the role of BI Data Modeller / Developer at Greencore from May 2016 to August 2018. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Derby in various roles, including Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Developer from December 2014 to May 2016, Senior Strategic Performance Analyst from September 2012 to November 2014, and Statistician / Data Analyst from January 2009 to September 2012. Andy started their career as a Corporate Information Assistant at Leicestershire County Council from March 2007 to December 2008.

Andy Durkan attended Loughborough University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Management and Computing.

In addition to their formal education, Andy Durkan has obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they became a Cloud Analytics Practitioner through the Cloud Analytics Academy. Andy further enhanced their expertise by achieving two Microsoft certifications: Azure Administrator Associate in July 2021 and Azure Data Engineer Associate in June 2022.
