Nicola Collingwood

Nicola Collingwood has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Nicola began their career in 2008 at BioMed Central, where they worked as a Senior Production Editor, managing teams and ensuring manuscripts met company standards. Nicola then transitioned into a role as a Business Analyst, responsible for maintaining and improving the in-house submission and peer review system. Nicola also expanded the system to include all subject areas and completed a project involving manuscript transfers between journals.

In 2014, Nicola joined FEB Digital as a Senior Product Analyst, working with clients such as The Times, Coca Cola, and Retail Week to enhance customer experiences. Nicola then moved to Spotlight in 2016 as a Business Analyst and also served as a Product Manager, supporting their digital transformation program. Currently, Nicola is working at Ensono Digital as a Principal Consultant. In this role, they specialize in assembling and integrating cloud-native solutions for a range of clients across industries such as retail, housing, finance, and education. Nicola has contributed to the development of a self-service portal for a housing association, allowing users to manage various tasks online.

Nicola Collingwood graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. In addition to their academic degree, Nicola has obtained certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance in November 2018 and as a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2021.
