Russell Seymour

Russell Seymour has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Russell is currently working as a Principal DevOps Consultant at Amido since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at Turtlesystems Consulting starting from January 2012. In this role, they served as a Solution Architect at ASOS from October 2013 to February 2016, where they designed and developed an automatic provisioning system for Dev and Test environments. Russell also has experience working as a Principal Software Engineer at Chef Software from February 2016 to December 2020. During this time, they worked on the Partner Engineering and Solutions Engineering teams, and focused on configuring Azure DevOps, building reusable Azure ARM Templates, and developing various applications using Go and Kubernetes. Before that, they served as the Head of Platform Architects at EMC Consulting (formerly Conchango) from April 2006 to January 2012. Russell started their career at Energis as a Support Team Leader from September 2001 to April 2006, and prior to that, they worked as a Systems Administrator at Trinity Mirror from July 1997 to September 2001.

Russell Seymour attended the University of the West of England from 1993 to 1997. Russell obtained a 2:1 BEng Hons degree in Digital Systems Engineering during their time at the university.
