Amit Patel McIpd

Amit Patel MCIPD has accumulated extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Currently, Amit holds the position of Head of HR at Entain. Prior to this, they served as the Head of People - Costa Express (Interim) at Costa Coffee. Amit also worked as the Operating Model Transformation - HR lead (interim) at comparethemarket.com and as the Head of HR - Retail Transformation and HR Operating Model Change Lead at Marks and Spencer.

Before joining Marks and Spencer, Amit held various roles at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG™), including HR Director - HR Transformation and HR Director - Group Transformation, Global Workforce Transition (interim). Amit also served as the Interim HR Lead - British Gas UK Field Operations at Centrica.

In their earlier career, Amit worked for Konecta UK - Santander Group, where they served as the Head of HR and HR Manager. Amit also gained experience as a Regional HR Advisor at Phoenix IT Services and as an HR Coordinator at Pertemps - National Grid Gas Contract.

Throughout their career, Amit demonstrated leadership and expertise in areas such as talent management, leadership development, organization design, change management, and employee relations. Amit has a strong track record of driving innovation, introducing process efficiency, and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.

Amit Patel MCIPD has a strong education history. Amit started their education at Kimbolton School, where they earned their A-Levels in Foreign Languages and Literatures from 1989 to 2000. Amit then attended the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA Hons) in Ancient History and Modern Languages. Later on, they pursued further education at the University of Northampton from 2008 to 2011, where they completed a degree in Human Resources Management and Services, earning their CIPD qualification. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Chartered MCIPD from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
