Andrew Thompson

Andrew Thompson is an experienced data architecture professional with a strong background in designing and implementing data platforms across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Data and Analytics Architect at Entain since November 2021, Andrew previously held the position of Information Data Architect at William Hill, where significant contributions included the creation of a corporate data platform and the decommissioning of over ten legacy systems. Previous roles include Enterprise Data Architect at Shop Direct, Senior Data Architect at Visa, and Data Architect at United Utilities, among others. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Sunderland, earned between 1987 and 1991.
