Rahul Sehgal

Rahul Sehgal has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Rahul started their career as a QA Intern at Piranha Games, where they developed and fine-tuned the QA system for the game Days of Thunder. Rahul then worked as a Game / Level Designer at Vancouver Film School, where they contributed to the development of a 2D flash game called Count Pengula's Castle.

Rahul later joined Gameloft as a Game Designer and Producer, where they were involved in the design and production of games. Rahul also worked at InnoPark (India) Pvt. Ltd as the Chief of User Experience for Cozy Games, leading the design and production of game assets for slots, bingo, and casino games.

Furthermore, Rahul has experience as a Game Design Consultant at Octathorpe Web Consultants and as a Visiting Lecturer at Vellore Institute of Technology. Rahul has also served as the Managing Director of Roach Interactive and Head of Design Faculty at Backstage Pass Institute of Gaming and Technology, where they mentored students in various subjects related to game design and technology.

Currently, Rahul is the Creative Lead at Entain (formerly GVC), where they oversee the creative team of the in-house game studio. Rahul is responsible for developing new game specifications, planning and pre-production, and ensuring the overall quality of the games.

Additionally, Rahul is the Co-Founder and Lead Instructor at Gamer2maker, an organization that focuses on teaching game development skills.

Rahul Sehgal has a diverse education history. Rahul attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2019-2020 and completed an Executive Program in Management. In 2018, they participated in an Executive Education Program on Design Thinking and Beyond at the Indian School of Business, focusing on Design in Business Strategy. In 2008-2009, they obtained a Diploma in Game Design from the Vancouver Film School, specializing in Game and Interactive Media Design. Additionally, in 2006-2007, they received a Masters Certificate of Competency from the South Shields Marine School. Rahul completed their Secondary School education at The Lawrence School - Sanawar - India from 1990 to 1992, emphasizing Sciences.
