Steve Howells

Steve Howells has over 15 years of experience in risk management, health, safety, and environment roles. Steve is currently the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Entain, where they lead and provides overall vision for the organization's Enterprise Risk Management Policy and framework. Their responsibilities include implementing and embedding ERM across all divisions, regions, and functions, promoting timely risk analysis and reporting, and developing best practice guidance. Prior to this, Steve served as the Group HSSE & Risk Director at Entain and held leadership positions at Gatwick Airport, DB Cargo (UK) Limited, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Heathrow Airports Ltd, RM plc, and Caterpillar Inc. Steve also served as a Board Trustee at Embrace Child Victims Of Crime, where they supported children, young people, and families who are victims of serious crime. Additionally, Steve chaired the Aviation and Aerospace Group at IOSH, where they provided professional health and safety guidance and advice to stakeholders in the industry.

Steve Howells attended the University of Greenwich from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained their Msc in Environmental Health and Safety Management. Additionally, they have also pursued various courses, including NEBOSH, though the specific details of these courses are not provided.
