Amlan Chakraborty, Ph.D., is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and simulation across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Scientist - Modeling Lead at Entegris since October 2015, Amlan has pioneered advanced CFD modeling techniques to enhance clean room filter products and optimize semiconductor facilities, focusing on micro-contamination control and implementing Digital Twin technologies. Prior roles include Modeling Scientist at Veeco Instruments, where expertise in MOCVD reactors and complex thermal analyses was developed, and CFD Project Engineer at General Motors, specializing in cryogenic systems for hydrogen storage. Amlan's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville, combined with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
