Jim Bourgeois

Jim Bourgeois is a seasoned professional in economic development, currently serving as the Business and Economic Development Manager at Entergy since May 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating RFP/RFI responses and championing business recruitment in Louisiana. Previously, Jim held roles such as Manager of Business Development at Lafayette Economic Development Authority, focusing on diversifying the local economy, and Executive Vice President of Economic Development at One Acadiana, where significant achievements included securing over 2,200 direct jobs and facilitating $747 million in capital investment. Jim has also held positions at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber, Louisiana Economic Development, IEM, Louisiana State Employees Retirement System, and the Republican National Committee, contributing expertise in business development and research across various organizations.
