Kent Mitchell

Kent Mitchell has over 30 years of experience in process safety management and operations. Currently serving as Lead Regional PSM Specialist at Enterprise Products since August 2017, Kent previously held senior roles in process safety and operations at Process Safety & Reliability Group and SIS-TECH Solutions, where responsibilities included facilitating Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Layer of Protection Analyses (LOPA) using various methodologies. Kent's early career included significant roles at Chevron Phillips Chemical Co, including support for incident investigations and training in process safety protocols, alongside operational roles as a Chief Process Operator at KMCO Specialty Chemicals. Kent holds a high school diploma from Crosby High School and has been actively involved in process safety throughout an extensive career in the chemical industry.
