Dave Page

Dave Page has an extensive work experience in the field of IT and database infrastructure. Dave co-founded and serves as a director of Slonik Enterprises Ltd since 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at EnterpriseDB, including VP & Chief Architect of Database Infrastructure and Chief Architect of Tools & Installers. Dave also contributed significantly to the PostgreSQL community as Chairman of the Board of PostgreSQL Community Association of Canada and as a director of PostgreSQL Europe. Dave started their career as an Electronics Apprentice at Oxford Lasers Ltd and later worked as an Electronics Technician at the Dept. of Particle and Nuclear Physics, University of Oxford. Dave then became the Head of IT at The Vale Housing Association before transitioning into the IT and database infrastructure roles. Throughout their career, Dave has been actively involved in the development and core team of PostgreSQL, leading projects such as pgAdmin and one-click installers.

Dave Page earned a BTEC ONC degree in Electronic Engineering from Oxford College of Further Education in 1992. Dave then pursued a BTEC HNC degree in Electronic Engineering from Oxford Brookes University, completing it in 1994. In 2004, they obtained an MSc degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.
