Florian Brand

Florian Brand is the CEO and Co-Founder of atai Life Sciences, a German biotech company focused on therapeutic solutions for mental well-being, since June 2018. Additionally, Florian serves as a Pledger with Founders Pledge, supporting entrepreneurs in addressing global challenges. In a board member capacity, Florian is involved with several organizations, including Beckley Psytech, Recognify Life Sciences, and EntheogeniX Biosciences. Florian's prior experience includes serving on the board of Perception Neuroscience and GABA Therapeutics, Inc., as well as COMPASS Pathways. Florian’s early career included multiple roles at Springlane, including Co-CEO. Educationally, Florian holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
