Behzad Eftekhari

Behzad holds a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BSc in mechanical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran.

Behzad has a passion for applied, physics-based solutions. Prior to joining Enthought, he held a postdoctoral research fellowship in physics for 2.5 years at the University of Texas at Austin. There, he adapted ideas from condensed matter physics to solve transport and fracture problems in gas recovery from shale reservoirs. Behzad’s work has been published in the literatures of petroleum engineering and physics.
