Rob Herndon

Rob Herndon's work experience begins in 1992 when they worked as a Systems Engineer for the United States Air Force. Rob then held various roles within the Air Force, including C-5 Instructor Pilot, Flight Commander, and Deputy Commander. In 2005, they became the Chief of the Strategic Planning Branch at the Global Cyberspace Integration Center. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Commander of AFROTC Det 860. Rob then became the Deputy Commander of AFROTC Northwest Region from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, Herndon transitioned into the education field and became the Associate Dean of Business & Technology at Pikes Peak Community College. Rob worked in this role until 2015 when they became a High School Math Teacher for the York County School Division.

In 2016, Herndon joined The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, they were responsible for client engagement, product development, and thought leadership. Rob later became the President of the company in 2019, where they led strategy development, financial oversight, and new product development. Rob also developed partnerships with various organizations to expand the impact of entrepreneurial mindset education.

Rob Herndon received their Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1992. Rob then pursued a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from Notre Dame de Namur University, completing it in 1994. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Commercial Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1996.
