Atharva Karkhanis

Atharva Karkhanis is currently serving as the Program Representative for Biotechnology at Vellore Institute of Technology, advocating for over 360 students during the 2023-24 academic year. As the Immediate Past President of Toastmasters International, Atharva provides guidance and support to the new Executive Committee. Previous roles include Assistant Area Director Membership, where oversight of membership domains and inter-club relations was managed, and President of Toastmasters Clima, focusing on club operations and communication. Atharva's experience also includes a Corporate Strategy Internship at Sony Pictures Networks India, as well as internships in fermentation and molecular biology at PRIVI Biotechnologies. Atharva is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology at Vellore Institute of Technology.
