About the role

Join the Business Intelligence Team at Entrupy!

We are seeking a Senior Analytical Engineer who can translate diverse data needs into data models and tooling design, drive org-wide data foundation strategy, and make ambitious technical visions come true. You will be exposed to the full lifecycle of data at Entrupy, and you will leverage one of the largest and richest fashion-tech datasets in the world. 

We are dedicated to enhancing our analytics pipeline, refining underlying data models, integrating new data sources and developing intuitive self-service solutions. We believe in data accessibility and robust data governance practices. In addition, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team that is spread across different time zones.

Reports to: Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Bangalore, India. Hybrid

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and refine data models used by the BI team and external teams for visualizing data.

  • Discover opportunities to improve the performance of data models and pipeline tasks
  • Support self-service analytics

  • Assist the team in creating visuals and dashboards as needed

  • Help to educate others on analytics best practices and drive the company’s data culture toward success.

  • Mentor others on the BI team, helping to guide them toward organized performant solutions.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of experience in data modeling with large scale data

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs

  • Experience with:
    - dbt
    - Expert levels of SQL
    - Pandas
    - One or more modern visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Qlik, etc)
    - Advanced levels of Python
    - ELT/ETL Orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, etc...)

    • Preferences

        • 6 or more years of experience in the Analytics/Data space.

        • DevOps/DevSecOps/DataOps experience

        • Degree in relevant fields (CS, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, etc...)

        • Experience with:

          1. PySpark

          2. AWS

          3. Provisioning Tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, etc)

          4. Kubernetes

          5. CI/CD Tools - Github Actions or other.

          6. Containerization
