Pierre Baard

Pierre Baard has been working in the data science field since 2017. Pierre began their career as a Supply Chain Analyst at Pick n Pay in 2017. In 2018, they joined Capitec Bank as a Data Scientist and Statistical Analyst. In 2020, they moved to Envel and Signific as a Data Scientist.

Pierre Baard completed their high school education at Hugenote Hoërskool from 2005 to 2009, where they studied Mathematics, Accounting, Science, CAT, Afrikaans, and English. Pierre then attended Stellenbosch University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Operations Research. In 2014, they completed an honours degree in Operations Research at Stellenbosch University. Finally, they earned a Master's degree in Operations Research from Stellenbosch University between 2015 and 2017.
