Jorge Salinas

Jorge is an Operations Associate with the Program Cycle Mechanism (PCM) team. He supports financial management, operations such as travel and placement logistics, and general program management.

Jorge has 4 years of experience working on USAID contracts in a project management role and an additional 5 years of experience as a project manager working on contracts with a variety of other agencies such as the SSA, VA, DOS, DOI, and DOJ. Prior to joining EI, Jorge was a project manager at Management Systems International where he worked on field projects based in Mexico, Lebanon, Bolivia, and Colombia. While working on the project in Colombia he was able to learn about Environmental Compliance and work with the field team to improve their environmental compliance processes in their rural development projects.

Jorge believes that environmental sustainability can be folded into all sorts of projects and looks forward to someday using his operational experience to help bridge that gap.
