Outreach & Uptake Lead, Measuring Impact II at Environmental Incentives

Lexine is a Senior Associate for Environmental Incentives and leads two workstreams to broaden the scale and impact of the USAID Measuring Impact II project. First, she helps transform USAID business processes to support adaptive management and other innovative and effective program approaches. Second, she finds and engages new audiences to embrace performance-driven conservation approaches through the Outreach and Update workstream.

Lexine has over twenty years of development experience, working at the nexus of social, environmental, and economic policies and practice. She is an experienced facilitator of strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation projects and has worked in communities from northern Minnesota to rural Jordan. Most recently, Lexine led the Sustainable Landscape team at USAID and was the U.S. government representative to Tropical Forest Alliance 2020, a global public-private partnership to reduce commodity-driven tropical deforestation.

Lexine is passionate about improving development practice through constant learning and adaptation—there’s not a moment to lose in protecting people and the ecosystems upon which they depend. Lexine is particularly excited about opportunities to partner with global consumers and supply chains to transform the market demands which often drive environmental degradation and unsustainable practices.
