Ximena Gómez Lavi

Associate, Latin America & Caribbean at Environmental Incentives

Ximena brings over seven years of experience in sustainable development and project management to support cross-mission environmental programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). As an Associate at Environmental Incentives, she contributes to the implementation of USAID’s Measuring Impact II and the LAC Environment Support Services Contract projects.

Previously, Ximena worked at Microsol as Coordinator of International Carbon Market Projects in Central and South America and at Libelula, a climate change consulting firm, as part of the Technical Secretariat of the LAC Platform for Low-Emission Development Strategies. She has also served as a Conservation and Climate Change Assistant with WWF Peru and as a consultant for the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture, the Peruvian Ministry of Education, the Uruguayan Foreign Trade Agency, Research Centre of Universidad del Pacifico, CIFOR, and different private sector organizations.

Ximena believes that they all have the potential to build a more sustainable society when we have appropriate information and resources available. That is why Ximena loves working on knowledge management and capacity building so that those key resources are available for more people and change agents.
