Bárbara Silva

Bárbara Silva is currently working as a Research Scientist at Envisagenics since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine from March 2019. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Leeds from November 2018 to February 2019. Bárbara also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Leeds from June 2017 to July 2018 and as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Leeds from July 2013 to December 2013.

Bárbara Silva's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Universidade do Porto, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Bárbara then pursued a Master of Science in Life Science from Universidade do Minho, which they obtained between 2009 and 2011. Bárbara's educational journey continued as they enrolled at the University of Leeds, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cancer Biology from 2014 to 2018.
