Edmund Passon has had a long and varied career in the technology industry since 1996. Edmund began their career at InFocus as a Senior Optical Engineer, then moved to Philips as a Project Leader in Advanced Development. In 1999, they worked at Avio Digital as a Product Engineer and Project Leader, then returned to InFocus as a Product Architect. Edmund then moved to Oerlikon in 2004, where they served as Business Development Manager and Systems Engineering Manager. In 2008, they joined OmniVision Technologies, Inc. as a Product Design Manager. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at COM DEV as Business Unit Manager and Business Development Manager. In 2012, they joined Compound Photonics as Co-CEO, Board Member CPGL, President CPUS, Senior VP Product Development, and Vice President Of Product Development. In 2022, they joined Snap Inc. and in 2023, they became the Executive Vice President of Research and Development at Envisics.

Edmund Passon attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business in 2006, where they studied Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Executives. In 1992, they attended the University of Rochester, where they studied Contemporary Optics. From 1985 to 1988, they attended RCC and earned a Technologist degree in Electronics. Edmund also attended MSS, though no other information is available.
