The Director of Marketing works with attorneys and staff members to develop the vision and strategies required to generate new business development opportunities, influence public perceptions and maintain a positive brand reputation to support the overall mission statement, growth and success of the firm.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and guidance to the Marketing Assistant.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Meet and/or communicate weekly with the Administration team, Intake

team, Managing Attorneys and Partners to ideate and define content

goals.

• Bi-weekly meetings with the Intake Team Leads to go over numbers and

sources of leads, and analyzing the sales numbers in comparison to the

marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and determine if and

where changes need to be made.

• Working with the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Agency to develop

content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and

marketing goals. Working with the website development team to

add/update content, maximize website performance, track keyword

rankings, implement SEO strategies and optimize user experience.

• Managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains

consistent across all platforms.

• Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and

advancements in technology by attending industry conferences and

webinars and reading industry articles.

• Developing and executing content and communications (website content,

blogs, ads, social media posts) that position the Firm, practice groups,

and lawyers as industry/thought leaders to advance awareness and

develop sustainable competitive advantages in the marketplace.

• Managing online reputation for the firm and attorneys. Determine

platforms where reviews are needed and work with attorneys, paralegals

and other staff to solicit reviews from satisfied clients. Track reviews for

bonuses. Respond to reviews and post reviews to website and social

media.

• Updating and Maintaining Google Business Profile listings.

• Coordinating and overseeing marketing videos.

• Managing and coordinating the event planning process surrounding

various firm events (summer parties, holiday parties, Grand Openings,

etc.) and attorney business development efforts, including community

outreach events.

• Meeting with and supervising the Marketing Assistant in their duties and

assigning and prioritizing duties when needed.

• Managing submissions to Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers.

• Adding and renewing firm and attorney memberships to “Best” and “Top”

lists and posting relevant badges to the website and platforms.

• Developing and managing advertising campaigns.

• Assisting with onboarding of new attorneys by ensuring profiles on

website and directories are created/updated and posting new-hire

announcements on social media.

• Conducting market research and staying abreast of competitor

positioning.

• Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns,

and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).

• Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies.
