Alison G. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 30 years. Alison has held various roles in different companies and sectors. Their most recent position is as a (VP) Portfolio Director, Scientific Strategy at Envision Pharma Group, which they started in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as (VP) Portfolio Director & Team Lead, Scientific at the same company from January 2019 to April 2022. From January 2017 to December 2018, they held the position of Scientific Team Lead. Before joining Envision Pharma Group, Alison worked at Complete Healthcare Communications as a Senior Medical Writer from November 2006 to January 2009. Alison also gained experience as a Scientific Editor at Biobase Proteome Division (formerly Incyte Genomics, Inc.) from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Aventis Pharmaceuticals from 1998 to 2000. Alison started their career as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Thomas Jefferson University from 1994 to 1998 and at SmithKline Beecham from 1992 to 1994.

Alison G. attended Colgate University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and completed their Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 1992.
