Matt Mettry

Matt Mettry has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Matt worked as the Vice President Revenue Cycle Optimization at Envision Healthcare, where they were responsible for optimizing patient collection and leading revenue cycle transformation initiatives. Matt also served as the Director of Operations, overseeing anesthesia business development and operations at 22 hospitals and surgery centers.

Before that, Matt was the Vice President of Operations at NorthStar Anesthesia, P.A., where they had a significant impact on financial performance, customer service, and staffing optimization. Matt successfully negotiated contract renewals, developed analytics to prevent revenue loss, and implemented data automation tools.

Prior to their roles in healthcare, Matt worked as the National Director of Physician Development/Director of Business Development at Tenet Healthcare, focusing on provider recruitment and credentialing for urgent care facilities. Matt also has experience as a Hospital Administrator at Community Health Systems, where they managed multiple hospital departments and implemented process improvements.

Matt started their career as an Army Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army, where they served for four years. Matt also has experience in product marketing and market development at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.

Matt Mettry has an educational background that includes a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Analytics - Data Science from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned an MBA from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business in 2006-2007. Matt also holds a B.S. in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech, which they received in 1996-2000. Matt completed their high school education at Bishop McGuinness and obtained a High School Diploma in 1992-1996. In addition to their formal education, Matt has obtained certifications such as "J.T.
