Andrew Arends

Andrew Arends has extensive work experience in the field of enterprise resource planning, specializing in Microsoft Dynamics. Andrew has held several roles and responsibilities throughout their career.

Starting in 2002, Andrew worked as a Systems Engineer at Ford Motor Company and later at MSX International, where they developed processes and implemented software applications to reduce material costs for Ford.

In 2005, they joined The Bing Group as the Lead Systems Administrator, overseeing IT operations and managing the IT budget.

In 2007, Andrew provided consulting services as a Systems Integrator at Chrysler, facilitating database architecture changes and enabling off-shoring of non-core IT processes.

From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Applications Analyst at Cobasys LLC, upgrading ERP software and creating an e-commerce portal using MS SharePoint.

Andrew then founded Operations Management Corporation in 2004, where they served as President, managing the accounting, tax, and legal requirements of the company.

Andrew joined Fullscope in 2009 as a Consultant, leading a custom implementation project for a multinational client and later collaborating on upgrading Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

At Columbus A/S, from 2010 to 2013, Andrew operated as a Project Manager and Business Consultant, specializing in manufacturing, supply chain management, procurement, and project management within the MS Dynamics AX team.

Andrew worked at Tribridge as a Senior Consultant from 2013 to 2018, contributing to various projects.

Currently, as of 2018, Andrew is employed at enVista as a Senior Solution Architect, utilizing their expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning with a specialization in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Andrew also possesses extensive knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain management.

Andrew Arends completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Andrew later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in the year 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a second MBA from the Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business during the same period, specializing in Integrative Management. Sustaining their professional development, Andrew obtained several certifications related to logistics and operations, including "Distribution and Trade in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations" from Microsoft in August 2021, "Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations - Distribution and Trade" in June 2018, "Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 - Trade and Logistics" from Microsoft in August 2013, and "Microsoft Dynamics AX Production Control 2009 - Production Control" from Pearson VUE in January 2010.
