Ruth Kariuki

Ruth Kariuki is a skilled venture builder and operations manager with extensive experience in the agri-food sector. Currently serving as a Venture Builder Associate at Enviu since January 2022, Ruth has been instrumental in business research, model ideation, and startup commercialization. Ruth's role as Operations Associate involved managing complex projects aimed at benefiting farmers, including leading Kenya's first direct export of avocados from smallholder farmers. Additionally, Ruth holds the position of Young Expert in the AgriFood Sector with Young Expert Programmes and Head of Operations at ShambaniPro Agri Innovations East Africa Ltd. Previous roles include content creator for FoodFlow and business development officer at Hydroponics Africa Limited. Ruth holds a BSc in Agribusiness Management from the University of Nairobi.
