Brandi Colander

Brandi Colander currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Government Affairs at Enviva, a position held since July 2022. Colander is also a Senior Advisor at VEIC, a Board Member at the DC Green Bank, and the Co-Founder of Brandi Will Rise, an organization advocating for equity in the judiciary since April 2020. Additionally, Colander chaired the Board of Directors at DC Green Bank and was a founding member of Chief, a network designed to support senior women leaders. Previous roles include Chief Sustainability Officer at WestRock Company, Principal at The Raben Group and the Diverse Asset Managers Initiative, Head of External Relations for Diversity and Inclusion at Charter Communications, and Associate Vice President at the National Wildlife Federation. Brandi Colander holds a JD from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University.
