Tirtharaj Shelke

Tirtharaj Shelke has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Tirtharaj currently works as a Scientists Peptide process developer at Enzene Biosciences Ltd since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist IPDO (Peptide chemistry) at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from 2020 to 2021, where they were involved in peptide product development, feasibility study, and optimization of peptide molecules. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Senior Research Fellow (Peptide & Impurity development) at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, focusing on purification method development, isolation and characterization of peptides and API impurities. Tirtharaj also gained experience at Mylan from 2016 to 2018 in the R&D Peptide department, where they worked on the synthesis of long chain peptides. Tirtharaj previously worked at SUN PHARMA from 2014 to 2016, handling peptide purification, in-process analysis, and lyophilization. Additionally, they have worked as a QC Analyst at Unichem Laboratories Limited and as a Trainee at Varroc Polymers in 2014 and 2013, respectively.

Tirtharaj Shelke earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organic Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2011 and 2013.
