Garrett Heinrich

Garrett Heinrich is an experienced application scientist at Enzo Life Sciences, Inc., with a focus on customer engagement and technical support since August 2020. Prior to this role, Garrett served as a senior scientist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where efforts centered on human adipocyte biology and compliance with lab safety regulations, including COVID-19 antibody assays. As a research assistant professor at Ohio University, Garrett coordinated laboratory operations and contributed to grant writing and mentorship of graduate students. Previous roles include associate research scientist at Columbia University, investigating metabolic processes, and postdoctoral fellow at Duke University, developing molecular techniques in yeast research. Garrett holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Toledo and a BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
