Dr. Gregory Kryukov has served as Scorpion Therapeutics’ Vice President of Data Science since June 2020. As the head of biological data sciences, he has 20 years of experience in statistical genetics, cancer genomics, and target identification and brings to Scorpion a passion of transforming data into knowledge.
Prior to joining Scorpion Therapeutics, Dr. Kryukov served as Senior Director of Computational Biology at KSQ Therapeutics, where he built and led the data science team from January 2016 until June 2020. Dr. Kryukov served as Senior Group Leader at the Broad Institute Cancer Program between August 2010 and January 2016. In this role, he led the computational side of Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia project and developed novel computational approaches to link cancer cells genetic alterations to their specific vulnerabilities. Dr. Kryukov has also previously served as an instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kryukov earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a M. Sc. degree in Physics from Moscow State University.
