Virginia Lucey

Virginia was a major contributor to the family partnership that set up the Donor Animal Blood collection business in 1978. When the partnership broke up in 1989 she founded Equine and Ovine Blood Products Ltd which later became E&O Laboratories Ltd when the business grew and diversified into ready-to-use microbiological media. Virginia is also the 100% shareholder of E&O Diagnostics Ltd, founded in 2001, which operates from the Burnhouse site and provides both Quality Control and R&D services to E&O Laboratories Ltd. As well as having overall control of the company, Virginia has specialized responsibility for the sales and marketing, engineering, and farm departments.
