Job Summary:

As an Entry-Level Advanced Design Engineer at EOS Aircraft, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the conceptual and preliminary design of next-generation aircraft. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to grow and develop their skills in aerospace engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of conceptual and preliminary aircraft designs, including aerodynamic, structural, and systems integration.

• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to support design decisions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate design concepts and progress.

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerospace technology and apply relevant knowledge to design projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in aerospace engineering principles, including aerodynamics, propulsion, materials, and structures.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards tackling engineering challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in aircraft design or a related field.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA).

• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) for engineering applications.

Desired Attributes:

• Prior experience in an aerospace start-up or with (electric) aircraft development is highly valued.
