Job Summary:
The Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at EOS plays a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's strategic vision and growth initiatives. This role involves developing strategic plans, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and establishing key partnerships to enhance our market position. The VP conducts market research to inform decision-making, and collaborates across functions to align initiatives with company goals. Additionally, the role includes securing funding and investments to support strategic projects and drive EOS’ long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue. This could include partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, or new market entries.
Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing the company's strategic vision and growth plans. This involves analyzing market trends, assessing competitor strategies, and identifying potential opportunities for expansion.
Partnerships and Alliances: Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and industry leaders, to enhance the company’s market position and create synergies.
Market Research and Analysis: Conducting detailed research to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging trends that could impact the business.
Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, sales, engineering, and operations to align business development initiatives with overall company goals.
Funding and Investment: Identifying potential funding sources and working with financial and operations teams to secure investments and grants that support strategic projects and growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in B2B sales, business development, or professional services; strong preference in the aviation/airlines sectors.

Exceptional relationship management skills with a proven ability to build and grow connections across diverse backgrounds and industries.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
Proven ability in independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
Proficiency with sales technology, specifically Salesforce, and comfort using various tech tools in the sales process.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.
Capable of navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
