Alan Righter

Volunteer On Device Testing Standards Working Groups at EOS/ESD Association

Alan Righter has extensive experience in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, serving as a Senior Manager and leading the Electrically Induced Physical Damage Department at Analog Devices from July 1997 until January 2024. In addition to this role, Alan Righter has contributed as a Principal Engineer and Senior Staff ESD Engineer, and held the position of President of the EOS/ESD Association from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Alan Righter is a volunteer on Device Testing Standards Working Groups at the EOS/ESD Association, Inc., since June 2007. Earlier in the career, Alan Righter was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on various CMOS engineering roles. Alan Righter holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of New Mexico, as well as multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science and two Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
