Shannon Smith

Shannon Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2018, they worked as an Assistant Store Manager at Swirl Froyo, where they gained leadership experience and built customer relationships. In the same year, they also served as a WMU Student Ambassador, giving university tours and developing public speaking skills. In 2020, Shannon worked as a Sales Associate at Target, where they focused on restocking the home decor department and collaborating with a team. Shannon also worked as a Banquet Server at Western Michigan University, where they demonstrated attention to detail and excellent customer service. In 2021, Shannon worked as a Sales Associate at Lowe's Companies, Inc., overseeing the home decor department and managing blind orders. Moving into 2022, they interned as an IT Application Specialist at InternConnect, gaining experience in SQL, UI/UX, and testing. Shannon then worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Crystal Mountain, where they supported desktops and integrated new applications. Currently, Shannon holds the position of Business Analyst at EOTECH and i2G Systems, starting in 2023.

Shannon Smith earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Western Michigan University. This educational experience lasted from 2017 to 2022.
