Matthew Kuniholm

Matt Kuniholm currently serves as the Director of Originations at EP Carbon, focusing on leveraging carbon finance for conservation and community benefit. Prior to this role, Matt held several positions at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, including Senior Program Officer for Environmental and Social Performance, where responsibilities included managing environmental and social performance for international development projects. Additional experience includes consulting for ERM on environmental and social impact assessments and serving in the Peace Corps, where Matt developed agricultural and conservation programs in Guatemala. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geography from the University of Maryland, an M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Biology and International Relations from Houghton University.
