Prior to Microsoft, Prabhaakar worked at Oracle India Development Center as a Software Engineer and at Talisma in software testing and development roles. Educational qualifications include a Micromasters in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem.
