Julia Spinelli

Julia Spinelli has worked in a variety of roles in the biomedical engineering and data science fields. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Data Scientist and a Biomedical Engineer at Epicore Biosystems. In 2020, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Current Health, where they contributed to research conducted by the Clinical Data Science team and analyzed photoplethysmography, gyroscope, accelerometer, and temperature data. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University and a Biomedical Engineer Co-op at Bose Corporation. In 2018, they worked as a Data Science & Machine Learning Co-op at Agfa HealthCare, where they developed and applied machine learning models to facilitate physicians in determining risk level of cancer in patients based on medical images. In 2017, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer Co-op at MC10 Inc. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where they used Python to implement clustering techniques on fMRI data and presented their contributions and results at the Women in Machine Learning Conference in Barcelona, Spain.
