Gabriel Mendonça

Gabriel Mendonça is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as Director of Data Science at SuperSim, Gabriel leads efforts in probability of default estimation and model development. Prior to this role, Gabriel held a senior data scientist position at PicPay, overseeing a team focused on product recommendations and natural language processing applications. Experience as a PhD candidate at COPPE / UFRJ includes research on DDoS detection and machine learning for home user traffic analysis. Gabriel's teaching roles at various institutions demonstrate a commitment to education in Python programming, machine learning, and data science.
