John Cleary

John Cleary has a diverse work experience in the music industry. John started their career in 2009 as a Composer and Producer under their own brand. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Audio Engineer at Treehouse Studios. John then moved to Lost Studios NY in 2016 and served as an Engineer/Producer until 2018. In 2018, they joined Epidemic Sound as a Music Talent Acquisition Manager, and quickly progressed through various roles including Head of Music, US and Director of Music, US. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Americas & Global Music Recruitment at Epidemic Sound.

John Cleary completed their Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory and Composition at Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts - MFA degree in Media Scoring at Brooklyn College from 2015 to 2019.
