Matthew Urban

Matthew Urban has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthew currently serves as the Director of Supply and Logistics at EpiLynx by Dr. Liia Skincare and Cosmetics since July 2021. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Special Investigator at the Diplomatic Security Service, Department of State from March 2014 to April 2021, where they were responsible for background investigations on candidates or current employees of the U.S. Department of State.

In 2014, Matthew also worked as a Court Officer at the Lake County Sheriff's Office for a brief period. From 2006 to 2012, they served as a Regional Security Office Analyst at the US Embassy The Netherlands, where they completed successful background investigations and coordinated various security checks and emergency planning activities.

Matthew's previous experience includes a long and distinguished career in the US Navy, where they served from 1988 to 2009. Matthew held positions such as Intelligence Specialist Chief Petty Officer and Chief Intelligence Specialist, leading teams, supervising personnel, and supporting various missions and operations. Matthew retired with an honorable discharge and maintained a Top Secret clearance throughout their career.

Matthew also served in the US Navy Reserve from 1992 to 2006, where they continued to contribute their expertise as a Chief Intelligence Specialist in various roles such as Analyst and Administrative Division Chief. Additionally, Matthew gained experience in the logistics and customer service sectors, working as a Customer Service Supervisor at the United States Postal Service from 1995 to 1998 and as a Store Detective at Meijer from 1993 to 1995. In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Matthew Urban earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Acting from the University of Michigan, where they attended from 1998 to 2001.
