Henry Ngugi

Regional Vice President Marketing Emea, Parts & Service Division at Epiroc

Henry Ngugi has extensive work experience in the mining and infrastructure industry. Henry started their career at Kenya Electricity Generating Company as a Trainee and Assistant Drilling Engineer. Henry then joined Atlas Copco Eastern Africa Ltd, where they held various roles, including Business Line Manager and Regional Sales Engineer. In 2009, they became the Country Manager for Atlas Copco Tanzania Limited, responsible for implementing the company's strategy and growing market share. Henry later became the General Manager for Atlas Copco Eastern Africa Ltd and was responsible for the implementation of the company's business strategy in the region. In 2018, Ngugi joined Epiroc as the Regional General Manager for East & Central Africa, overseeing the mining and infrastructure business in 18 countries. Henry is currently serving as the Regional Vice President Marketing EMEA for Epiroc's Parts & Service Division.

Henry Ngugi's education history includes multiple academic endeavors. In 1987, they enrolled at Moi University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering, completing their studies in 1990. Following this, from 1992 to 1993, they attended The University of Auckland, obtaining a Post Grad Diploma in Geothermal Energy Technology. In 2009, Henry returned to the Stockholm School of Economics to study Management. In 2016, they briefly studied Multinational Operations at the same institution.
